Fastening a Stirrer Impeller and Baffles in the Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor

Overview
A stirrer is a machine for mixing several different substances (solid, liquid, gas). It consists of an electric motor, speed reducer, shaft, and blades, and the shaft and blades are rotated by the power of the electric motor to stir. A baffle is a plate that is installed inside a stirrer to facilitate stirring.
If a foreign object gets into the agitator, it may lead to an accident, so it is very important to take measures to prevent loosening of each part.

Implementation
- Places that may be fixed by welding.
- Places that are likely to loosen due to load due to turbulent flow during stirring.
- A place where reaction load such as fluid to be agitated is applied to the impeller.
Improvement
- The extension of the maintenance period increased the operating rate and improved productivity.
- We were able to significantly reduce the parts replacement time.
