Overview

Sintering is a technology used to harden metal powder at a temperature lower than its melting point. A sintering plant is a facility where powdered ore, which has been finely ground in the beneficiation process, is mixed with limestone, coke breeze, and sometimes quicklime or dolomite. The mixture is then sintered, agglomerated, and cooled to create sintered ore.

Implementation

  • Locations subject to constant vibration or impact during transportation.
  • Locations where the material repeatedly expands and contracts due to temperature changes during operation.
  • Places that require regular inspection such as retightening work.

Improvement

  • No more bolt breakage accidents due to loosening of nuts.
  • The inspection cycle has been greatly extended, and the maintenance cost has been reduced.
  • The operating rate has increased, and the productivity has improved.
