Overview
A relay knocker is installed on the side of hoppers, silos, storage warehouses, etc. for coal, iron ore, gravel, etc., and is a device that shakes off adhering powder when the outlet is clogged. In the past, workers had to hit the object with a hammer to remove the adhering powder, but with the relay knocker, the force of compressed air moves the piston, making it possible to give a powerful blow to the object.
Implementation
- Places where impact is generated and loosened easily due to hitting with a hammer.
- Places where maintenance work is difficult due to high installation locations, and where falling parts can lead to personal injury.
Improvement
- Safety has been improved by eliminating the risk of fasteners falling.
- The maintenance cycle for work at height has been greatly improved.
- Significantly reduced maintenance costs.
